My name is Isaac Babji and I have always had some interest in programming and computer engineering. As a matter of fact, I have a college degree in Computer Technology and have spent the last 16 years working with various technologies , therefore i consider myself a technology expert.

However, the way computer programming was taught by my lecturers at the university made me dislike the topic.

I could never wrap my head around what is “java.lang, java.utils” for example. The way the subjects or units within the course were designed was of no help either because it  basically did not have an allowance for someone like me who needed a little bit more time understanding the basics.

So I just learned to adapt to the situation and spent more time on other subject matters. I just managed to pass the programming units by the skin of my teeth

Here we are many years later after that and I realize that technology is getting more and more complex as it is being incorporated in basically 90 percent of our lives. In fact, I do not think there is a day that passes by that you and I have not interacted with a piece of technology.

Just think about it, you wake up in the morning and the first thing you grab is your cellphone. It is amazing to think that the present day mobile phones are equal in power to laptops from just a year or two ago. I am still amazed that we have phones that have 12gbs of RAM and more than 1 Terabyte of memory!

Therefore I have decided to take the bull by the horns and revisit this topic in a more pragmatic way. From the basic interactions with people that I have had, I realize that there are also many other people in my shoes who would like to learn about Computer Software development but are confused on where to start and what to do.

Applying My Passion For Technologies

This is why I decided to journal my experience in this blog as a guide and source of encouragement for myself and others. I will be starting from scratch and building up my knowledge of various programming languages such as C# in the dotnet framework, Javascript, Node.js and the Angular framework.

I welcome you to join me on this journey and follow along as I get myself from a novice to an expert. I have faith that I will make it through and provide some helpful code that can improve some part of the society. When I think about it, it is like learning a new language then using it to write a book.

I will also be giving my opinion or views and reviews on various technological advances in the electronics space.

I have developed a passion over the years for surveillance technology that includes but not limited to CCTV cameras, and in some cases drones that are being used more and more by various companies and even countries to patrol their borders or huge tracks of land.

There has also been a lot of controversy about some of these advances and i hope to share my views on all this as i delve a little deeper into it. I find it very interesting that technology changes so fast that within 6 months, the gadgets that you are using currently will be rendered obsolete.

You are also welcome to suggest topics that you may want me to cover or provide my opinion on.
